Story
In 2022, I did the London to Brighton for BHF. It was A LOT - training, fundraising, logistics and a heat wave. On the day, as I cycled up the first hilly section in Surrey, I concluded I was not going to do this again!
Then in February this year I witnessed a heart attack, from initial symptoms, emergency response, surgery and recovery. After the event, in worried moments I turned to the BHF website and leaflets for guidance and reassurance. I used their invaluable resources to educate myself and alongside the hospital guidance, I was able to share information in times of fear and frustration.
I am raising money for the British Heart Foundation and I'd be so grateful for your support. You can sponsor me here (and include gift aid!) or if you would rather donate in exchange for a piece of art work / craft, please contact me!
If you can't donate, please learn about what a heart attack is, and the immediate actions you can take if you or someone else is having a heart attack:

As well as their fantastic resources, the BHF fund around £100 million of research each year into all heart and circulatory diseases and the things that cause them. Heart diseases. Stroke. Vascular dementia. Diabetes. They're all connected, and it's only thanks to support from people like us that the BHF can create new treatments and discover new cures.
Every pound helps so please give what you can to help me hit my target. Thanks!
