I passionately believe Curve's ethos that theatre is for everyone and in the benefits to health and wellbeing of participating in the arts.

So I will be putting myself out there and dancing in the Curve foyer all day on 30 November to raise valuable funds for the Curve Young Community Companies (CYCC).

These are popular workshops for 500+ young people aged 5-19 years with an interest and passion for performing arts. In a recent survey of participants, 87% stated that these activities had a very positive impact on their wellbeing and 88% felt that they increased their knowledge and skills.

Every year, over 40% of Curve’s CYCC places are offered free of charge. This is really important in a city where many families face high costs and fewer opportunities to participate in the arts.
