Story
Well here I go again 🚴♀️
This time I will be cycling 500km from Pisa to Rome in 4 days . For those of you that know me I am definitely not a fan of hills so this will be a massive challenge.
This time I will be joined by George and Andy and 40 other riders trying to raise money for research and ultimately a cure
I was diagnosed with Myeloma in June 2020, since then I have gone through months of chemotherapy, a stem cell transplant and am now on maintenance chemo.
Myeloma is a relapsing and remitting cancer which means although I am am currently in remission, it will come back 😢
The work that myeloma uk undertakes is a lifesaver, literally and gives us myeloma patients hope for the future.
After my stem cell transplant I was put on a maintenance therapy to keep me in partial remission for as long as possible, without this and the pushing of myeloma uk to make this available, I am not sure where i would be now.
On my initial diagnosis I didn’t ever think i would have hope for a future, please help by donating to allow me and other myeloma patients hope for our futures .
All our love
Jo, Andy and George xxx
