Myself, Chris and Garry will do doing a sky dive on 18th May, raising money and awareness for the Attain Team at Aberlour.

The Attain Team (my team) work with young people who are all care experienced as well have having additional support needs and are faced with many barriers, experiencing adversity – like poverty, discrimination, as well as having, poor mental health, issues with attending school. These challenges have impact on the young people, just being young people and are, dealing with issues, that some of us are fortune enough to never experience in our life time never mind, during childhood. This has a massive impact on these young people being able to be children.

The aim of the Attain Team is to provide support to these young people, help them find there voice, there strengths, work with them providing opportunities to help them to thrive and be the best version of themselves.

We not only work with the young people but also with the families/ schools/ mental health teams/social work and all services involved to ensure the young person have the best support to help encourage them to make good choices, in order for them to make positive life sustainable changes, so they can have best possible start and have more opportunities to help them thrive. - in there young life's.

We are only small team of 5, we are fighting for funding every year, we honestly don't know what these young people or families would do or where they would get support if funding wasn't available to run our programme.
