AND THIS is the reason why I have been supporting the UK's leading children's mental health charity Place2Be for the past 10 years and will continue to do so into the future. £45,000 raised so far by a lot of very lovely people, here's to many more £££s to come.
"1 in 8 children today have a diagnosable mental health problem.
50% of people with lifetime mental health problems first experience symptoms by the age of 14.
Rates of depression and anxiety among teenagers have increased by 70% in the past 25 years.
This is why Place2Be's work in schools throughout the UK is so important, now more than ever. By providing counselling and emotional support early, Place2Be is equipping children with the skills and resilience they need to go on to become healthier and happier adults.
I am supporting mental health because it's a cause that means a lot to me. I would be so grateful for any support you're able to give - together we can make a real and positive difference to children's mental health.
