I'm hitting the water at the 2024 UK Dragonboat Festival (Salford Quays) on 8th June to raise vital funds for NorthCare Charity. This organization makes a real difference in the lives of patients across the northern half of Greater Manchester, including Bury, Oldham, Rochdale and Salford.

I have volunteered as a paddler for the DECON DEMONS, an 11-person team of NHS decontamination professionals who are each giving up spare time to come together and raise money through sponsored dragonboat racing.

The NHS is one of the most worthy causes in Britain - helping with virtually every birth and every accident or ailment (broken bones and yes, cancer) so please give generously! Or come along and support us at Salford Quays.
