What tremendous support there was for the One Big Thank You event, a huge thank you to everyone who helped organise the day, walked with me, gave their time and effort and came along on the day. There are too many to name individually but you know who you are.

The £100k was an ambitious target but I still say that if everyone in D&G pledges just a £1 then we would raise over £100K!!. It's our local NHS and all funds raised will stay local for the benefit of us all who access the health services of NHS Dumfries and Galloway at some time in our life.
