Chris and I both knew families why had suffered whilst one of them struggled with Parkinson’s Disease. She would have been delighted for efforts made to support for a charity that helped readers to work to ease this suffering Chris was simply wonderful. We were both members of Bedford Rowing Club, and I still am. She died of MND in 2020.

Chris was most known for her swimming and our rowing club has a boat, G-Fish, named after her. Her granddaughters had always called her Granny-Fish.
