Embark on the journey of a lifetime, whilst supporting a great charity. Fundraise for St Michael’s Hospice (Hereford) by taking on the ultimate challenge: climbing the majestic Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.

Story

In October 2025 I will be attempting to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa to raise at least £2,000 for St Michael’s Hospice, Hereford.

Over the last 30 years I have lived and worked in Hereford as a GP at Cantilupe Surgery. I have seen both in my personal and professional life the hugely positive impact that St Michael's Hospice has for individual's and their families in the provision of first class palliative care.

This trip will be a personal challenge for me but one that I am really excited about. I am working hard to be the fittest version of myself that I can be! I hope to not only raise important funds for St Michael's Hospice but also take time to recognise the strength of friendships in helping each other through adversity and to be thankful for the opportunities life has afforded me.

All sponsorship money raised will be going directly to the Hospice as I will be covering the cost of the trip myself. If you could help in anyway, large or small it would be greatly appreciated.
