Story
Willen at Home gave my Gran (Sheila Tibbetts) such wonderful care during her final time with us. They were the only instituion to offer unwavering support and truly cared.
This charity challenge will see me trekking across active volcanoes and vast lava fields, bubbling mud pools, hot springs and more. I'll hike to Iceland’s youngest volcano, Gelgingaldir, and neighbouring Fagradaslsfjall before exploring the peaks of Mount Hengill heritage site, scaling the impressive Vörðuskeggi Peak with spectacular views. I will also have the incredible experience of trekking along the fault lines between Europe and America.
Willen Hospice’s care touches thousands of local people every year.
They give comfort, ease pain and reduce anxiety for patients and their loved ones. Every pound given makes a difference - as it enables them to do more for more people across Milton Keynes when and where they need them. Willen receive less than 15% of their funding from the NHS, which means the rest is donated or fundraised for by amazing local people. Which is why your support is so important and so appreciated.
