Event: HYROX: London AUTUMN 2023, from 25 November 2023 to 26 November 2023
At the start of the 2023 summer holidays, Angus noticed a small lump in his neck. 10 days later he was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and very shortly after that, he started his treatment at the Royal Marsden in Sutton.

Story

Over the summer holidays Angus, our friend Fiona’s son has been diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma and has started his chemotherapy treatment at the Royal Marsden in Sutton.

His parents and teachers are running the Oxford Half Marathon which I’m unable to do this year so I’ve decided to raise money for the same cause by entering the London Hyrox event on the 26th November! The event involves 8 x 1k run’s interspersed with 8 x functional exercises!

The Royal Marsden Cancer Charity raises money solely to support The Royal Marsden, a world-leading cancer centre. We ensure our nurses, doctors and research teams can provide the very best care and develop life-saving treatments, which are used across the UK and around the world.

From funding state-of-the-art equipment and groundbreaking research, to creating the very best patient environments, we will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of people affected by cancer.
