I'm taking part in Northie's Race to Christmas, committing to 5k a day in November, to raise funds to get a gift for every patient in our care on Christmas Day at the Northern Care Alliance.

My dusty trainers and watch must think I’ve been horizontal for many months now due to the lack of steps, never mind running, I’ve done. So this really will be a challenge to get moving every day, most likely in the cold and dark!

Also committing to bringing back the inflatable Santa reindeer duo outfit for the final leg of the challenge (photo below) or something new IF I manage to hit my target.
