Story

As part of Missive’s commitment to support CALM, I’m taking on a new challenge and cycling 220km from London to and around the Isle of Wight in July!

This will be by far the furthest I've ever cycled and training for longer distances has felt like learning a whole new sport. I signed up to push myself not just physically but also mentally, and am keen to raise as much money for CALM as possible, to support their stand against suicide.

This couldn't be more important right now. A shocking 125 lives are lost every week to suicide in the UK. And 75% of all UK suicides are male. CALM exists to change this.

CALM do so by provoking conversation, running life-saving services, lobbying for better mental health support in the UK, and ultimately bringing people together so they reject living miserably, get help when they need it and don't die by suicide.

Just £8 could answer a potentially life saving call or webchat. Any donation big or small is really appreciated to support this cause. Thank you xxx
