On January 2nd 2024, my partner's mother bravely lost her brief battle with pancreatic cancer. Since then, we've come together as a family to navigate our grief and find ways to support others facing similar challenges.

In honour of Lucy’s memory, on July 20th 2024, my partner's family and I will embark on the Mighty Hike Marathon in the stunning Peak District National Park to raise crucial funds for those affected by cancer.

I've committed to raising £500 in Lucy's name, a tribute that will provide invaluable support to individuals battling cancer and with your help, we can fund a Macmillan Support Worker, offering essential emotional, practical, and financial guidance to those in need.

These past months have tested us like we have never known possible, but the outpouring of love and support has been a source of solace. Macmillan's unwavering support throughout Lucy's journey was a lifeline for her and our family. I’d love for us to come together to give back to this remarkable organisation.
