On May 22nd, 2024, I will be participating in Buzz Cuts for Childhood Cancer put on by Shorewood High School students! I will be donating my hair to raise awareness for the importance of childhood cancer and related blood disorders research. Other students and faculty will be BUZZING their heads. I'm not that brave.

MACC Fund supported research has had a significant impact. We’ve helped increase the five-year survival rate for all types of childhood cancer rates from 20% when the MACC Fund began to over 80% today… but the battle is far from over, we still have work to do.

I have been growing my hair for over a year and I'll be donating it to Wigs For Kids!
