It's my Birthday!!! As much as I appreciate the generosity and thought that goes into gifts. This year I am simply asking for this money to instead be donated to the Lily Foundation or a charity of your choice.

Since the loss of my beautiful niece Isla, the Lily foundation has been instrumental in providing support for my brother Daniel and sister-in-law Ellie. Daniel has managed to raise an incredible amount running marathons on behalf of The Lily Foundation and I am in awe of his strength and determination.

Money will go towards supporting other families who go through the same heartbreak and funding will help with awareness and research. Hopefully by raising awareness and funding they will get the answers they need.

The Lily Foundation was founded in Lily's memory, having lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old. The charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families that face the challenges of this disease today.

Did you know every twenty minutes a child is born who will develop Mitochondrial Disease by the age of 16! There is no cure for this disease which is for many, debilitating and life limiting.
