Story
It is estimated that 1 in 4 pregnancies in the UK end in miscarriage, ectopic or molar pregnancy. The Miscarriage Association is a small national charity whose mission is to ensure that everyone affected gets the care, support and information that’s right for them.
Throughout May, Miscarriage Association are asking people to “Bake a Difference” to help raise awareness of the impact of pregnancy loss, and to help them to continue to support people through. I will be holding a bake sale to raise money for the Charity on Monday 13th May 2024.
We have many clients and loved ones who have suffered pregnancy loss and sometimes feel alone and don’t know who to talk to and we are trying to raise awareness and bake a difference.
The Miscarriage Association is encouraging people to hold coffee mornings, serve afternoon tea, or bake goodies to sell at work or to friends, not only to signpost people to their services as a means of support but also to raise funds to help them help people through the heartbreak of pregnancy loss.
