Story
Hello!
OK it's time I challenged myself again to raise money for the very brilliant charity I'm proud to be an ambassador for - Amaze.
On Saturday 16th November I will be literally walking on hot coals as part of their Firewalk...! Yikes! I've done many things, but never this!
However, to be honest, walking on hot coals, is likely still easier than trying to navigate the education and healthcare systems when you have a child with additional needs.
As a proud parent carer of a neurodivergent daughter, I have spent 11 years advocating for her and like many others, have needed to lean on Amaze to get through some very challenging times. This advocacy journey is literally a maze. Hence their name.
Their work is vital.
And this is your chance to support the team, their work and everyone they support.
Amaze is an incredible charity that provides information, advice and support to families of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in Brighton & Hove and Sussex. They also support young people with SEND up to 25.
I would be very grateful for any donation and spreading the word of my soon-to-be very hot feet.
