Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
If you know me, you know that I am always driven to do something more and get involved in things that can really help affect change. You will also know that despite my deeper being feeling liberated by doing a sky dive, it actually makes me want to vomit. It does not even seem real that I have signed up for this challenge because going up a few escalators and looking down makes my legs wobble and I feel extremely uneasy. This is going to be more than a challenge, but it is for something that is so much more important than my own personal fear.
That brings me onto, Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven (WBUH), which is the only breast cancer charity in the county. They support all patients diagnosed with breast cancer in Worcestershire. They provide support services which include practical and physical activities to assist in living with breast cancer and recovery. As well as this they also work very closely with the NHS Breast Teams to ensure they can provide clinical services and assistance over and above what the NHS can provide. There support is available to every women and man diagnosed with breast cancer within the county which is on average 800 women and 7 men a year.
