Every year, employees at Jersey Water raise money for a chosen charity. This year our chosen charity is Teenage Cancer Trust Jersey Appeal.

This charity is particularly close to our hearts; in 2022 one of our colleagues tragically lost his only son to cancer at the age of 18 years.

Callum was 14 when he was first diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma. He was rushed to Southampton for emergency surgery and intensive chemotherapy, after which the family went to Germany for proton therapy. Callum made a full recovery, with intensive physiotherapy to learn to walk again. However after 18 months in remission, the cancer returned and tragically it was only a matter of months before Callum passed away.

Jersey Water colleagues will be raising money for the Teenage Cancer Trust Jersey Appeal and the company will match every pound we raise.
