Story
Last year I walked 53km for Teenage Cancer Trust for the Cotswold Way Challenge as my nephew had been diagnosed with a 1 in a million skin cancer. He has completed his 9 months of immunotherapy treatment, which went fantastically well, and is now on intense 6 monthly scans to check 'all continues to be ok'.
He still receives support from Teenage Cancer Trust, along with all other young people going through cancer.
This year I am undertaking two smaller challenges, for 2 charities and for Teenage Cancer Trust I will be doing a shorter, but no less challenging 25km London Summer Walk on 24 August 2024 taking in the historic areas of London which will be flat, very flat on very hard ground.
I am in awe of my nephew. So once again I am doing this for love. Love for him and his family, and for all young people who have to go through cancer in addition to the normal challenges of being a teenager.
All for Love
