Story
Celtic is and always has been a massive part of our lives. My mum & dad met at Paradise when they were teenagers, and Maureen and I have been going to see Celtic for longer than we can actually remember. Along with Maureen's brother Mark, we all still go to the games with my dad and I doubt that will ever change.
The Celtic Sleepout takes place on what would have been my mum's 67th birthday and given just how much my mum loved everything about Celtic and the significance of 67, we thought it was a sign (or possibly a moment of madness) that we should take part this year and raise funds for a wonderful cause. On the night of November 16th, we will spend a glorious, Glasgow winters night sleeping under the stars in Celtic Park in aid of the Celtic FC Foundation.
Celtic FC Foundation are the official charitable arm of Celtic Football Club. They proudly uphold its charitable principles and heritage of tackling and alleviating poverty here on our doorstep and beyond. They are an organisation here for all, regardless of gender, age, religion, race, or ability.
All funds raised from this event will support the 2024 Christmas Appeal, which reflects the very essence of why Celtic Football Club was formed.
The Appeal will help to bring the magic of the festive season to children, families, pensioners, those in refuge, the homeless, refugees and others who are struggling at an especially challenging time of year.
