Learning takes on a new meaning when guided by the wisdom of nature. All you have to do is step outside and open your mind to the lessons available to all of us. Observe the plants and animals that you encounter. What are they teaching you? What knowledge can you carry with you back into work or into the classroom?

When we venture outside with our students, we do so with a simple hope: to awaken a connection to the natural world. When we connect with nature we are compelled to care for its fate. To shape its future. To become good stewards of its endless gifts.

We are fundraising for the cause "Take A Hike" to help students experience science and nature. My target amount is $500 USD.
