Military Veterans Cycle Ride
We provide valuable support to veterans to empower and guide them on their journey.

Story

On the 8th of September I will be travelling to Arnhem via pedal bike to raise funds for Walking with the Wounded.

This will be cycling from my home address in Gateshead to Arnhem via ferry, which you may know as the infamous battle for the Pegasus Bridge Operation Covent Garden. The journey will cover 300 km, this will be a challenge as I have never ridden this distance before.

As a VLSO at Walking with the Wounded my role is to support the most vulnerable ex service personnel who are struggling with their mental health, offering practical and emotional support. This can be managing their money, housing issues, addictions, social isolation, and jobs. WWTW understand the life changing support needed by veterans who are struggling to rebuild their lives.

We will lay wreaths. All the journey is self -funded and all monies raised will go to Walking with the Wounded to support Veterans who are struggling since leaving Military service.

I will edit and upload the journey along the way. Any donation would be massively appreciated.

Thanks for your support!
