Story

Chris and Katie want to share the tragic news that on 27th August, their incredible son Max, took his own life.

Max was a loving, gentle, driven, beautiful and hilariously funny boy with an amazingly kind heart. He would have lived an incredible life, full of love and amazing achievements.

He was a hardworking 16 year old, with a full life planned ahead of him.

Max is loved beyond measure by so many, and he will be missed every second of every day by Chris, Katie, Aimee, Ben and his family/friends. Life will never be the same, Max was a light in a sometimes unkind world and the loss is unimaginable.

Chris and Kate want to raise awareness of teenage suicide and stop any other young person and their families suffering in this way.

They will be working with the charity Papyrus - Prevention of Young Suicide, to campaign, educate and support this awareness.

PAPYRUS is the national Charity for the Prevention of Young Suicide.

Suicide is the biggest killer of young people in the UK, every year over 1800 young people took their own lives. PAPYRUS provides confidential support and advice to young people struggling with thoughts of suicide, and anyone worried about a young person through their helpline, HOPELINE247.

Every £10 raised can contribute towards a life-saving contact to HOPELINE247. Your donations really are changing lives, thank you!
