Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

A team of us regulars at The Red Hoose are doing Glasgow Kiltwalk 2024 in aid of Camphill Blair Drummond which is a charity close to our hearts. We are aiming in teams to walk either the Mighty Stride (23miles) Big Stroll (14miles) or the Wee Wander (3miles)

Camphill is a home from home environment giving people with learning disabilities residential care, meaningful activities and lasting friendships. In short, the rounded life that all of us deserve to experience.

Here, we all live, work and grow together in a vibrant rural community, regardless of age, background, nationality or ability. Employees and volunteers work alongside adults with complex learning disabilities and everyone contributes to the normal pattern of community life. Tasks such as baking bread, tending the gardens and helping out in the estate grounds are shared by everyone and matched to individual abilities.

The commitment and enthusiasm of the people who live and work at Camphill Blair Drummond creates a warm, friendly and supportive setting where everyone’s contributions are valued and respected.

Any donation amount is very much appreciated, please give as much or as little as you can afford all for a great cause.
