Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am fundraising to support maternal health research at the University of Aberdeen. Your donation will help the team to continue their research in areas including helping people plan for giving birth, ensuring they receive all the information they need to make informed decisions, therefore reducing unmet expectations that can lead to physical and mental health problems.

They are also looking at understanding pregnancy loss and understanding how best to care for women after late miscarriage. As well as preconception health including how couples prepare for pregnancy and how health might impact preterm birth or pregnancy loss. This is just a few of the areas that the team specialise in but if you’d like to read more about their vital research, please visit the ACWHR website www.abdn.ac.uk/acwhr/.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
