Story
As many of you know, I have been living with incurable stage 4 breast cancer for nearly 6 years. My cancer remains stable thanks to my treatment and care at the Western General Hospital, Edinburgh. Although I don't know how much time I have left, I am determined to make a difference while I can.
This year, on 7th June I will be 56. When I was diagnosed age 50, I didn’t think I’d see my 51st birthday let alone my 56th birthday. I am so lucky and so grateful to still be here.
I want to celebrate life and make it even more meaningful by giving back to others who are navigating their own cancer journey.
I invite you to join me in supporting Cancer Card, the charity I founded with the aim of providing access to essential support, resources, and hope to individuals and families affected by cancer.
Cancer Card has been a labour of love, inspired by my own journey, and driven by the desire to make a difference in the lives of others facing this challenging disease.Your generous donations will directly contribute to the crucial work of Cancer Card, enabling us to provide access to much needed assistance to cancer patients and their families.
With your support, we can help people affected by cancer to find financial aid, counselling services, access transport services, educational resources and emotional support networks, ensuring that no one faces this alone.
Together, we can create a ripple of hope and make a tangible impact on the lives of those touched by cancer.
Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will go a long way in helping us extend a helping hand to those in need.Join me in spreading kindness, compassion and love by making a donation to Cancer Card for my birthday.
Every penny counts, and your generosity will be so very much appreciated by countless individuals affected by cancer.
If you are unable to contribute financially at the moment, your support in spreading the word about Cancer Card and its mission would mean the world to me. Feel free to share this message with your friends, family and colleagues who might be interested in making a difference.
Thank you for your love, support, and kindness. Let's celebrate life together and unite in our commitment to supporting one another.
With much love,
Jen
