On behalf of Seven Sisters RFC, I have set up this page for anyone who has known Dennis Gethin O.B.E. or anyone who has an interest in the great work that continues to be carried out by the Welsh Rugby Union Charitable Trust for injured players, or your just a rugby person who has played, supported or volunteered in our great game and would like to contribute to a great cause.
On Saturday 18th May 2024, Seven Sisters RFC will play against Glamorgan County RFC Kick Off 2.30pm at Maes Dafydd SA10 9EL. The game has been arranged between ourselves, Dennis's wife Jan and Glamorgan County RFC and will be a memorial game played in the memory of Dennis.
During the day, friends of Dennis will have the opportunity to visit Seven Sisters who no doubt over the years have had many a story relayed to them of the village & club close to Dennis's heart, You will also have the opportunity to share your lasting memories of Dennis in the clubhouse after the game.
We would love to see a great turnout for such an occasion, however we understand you may not be able to attend. Admission for the game is £5 per person, with all monies going towards the WRU Charitable Trust for injured players. If you cannot attend the a game, we would like you to consider making a donation of the gate money towards this day.
Thank You in advance for any contribution you can make and or seeing you on the day.
Regards
Jeff Davies
