Very few times as a researcher do you have an opportunity to raise funds for others to do cutting edge research, or care for those suffering with cancer. I feel that the challenge of the ride Across Britain represents a significant focal point for such an effort. The 1000 miles and 52,000 ft of climbing are hard but its nothing compared to the significant challenge faced by those diagnosed with prostate cancer - please back me to finish it and more importantly help those people suffering.
