Memorial Cricket Match - Little Gadd v Northchurch, 25 August 2024
In memory of James (Jeavsy) Jeavons
We help over 2,000 local people each year to live their precious lives well

Story

We wanted to raise money for the Hospice in recognition of the tireless dedication and warmth they show to all their patients in very difficult times. We are playing a game of cricket between old rivals in memory of James who would have liked nothing more than a game of cricket with friends on a Sunday afternoon followed by a few beers and a laugh. Although in latter years Jeavsy was seen more on the golf course than the cricket pitch, his passion for the game was still evident in shouts of encouragement to Ellis from the boundary edge ar Northchurch with beer in hand!

Whether you are able to play in the cricket match or not, please give what you can to help this amazing local charity.

Many thanks
