As per Jeans wishes the family welcomes donations to Macmillan or Garden House Hospice as an expression of sympathy in lieu of flowers.

Mum was the bravest person we will ever know, she fought hard against cancer for three years with such spirit, grace and humour but sadly passed away peacefully, surrounded by those that love her on Friday 5th July.

Garden House Hospice cared so compassionately for Jean in her last days, providing us with such kindness and support during that difficult time. It was a great comfort to us as a family that she was in their care and had a lovely view of the summer flowers in their beautiful garden from her room. They provided a calm and peaceful environment for Jean and for friends and family to visit her. It is a charity close to our hearts and has supported us all throughout this difficult time, we are so very grateful to them.
