Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
My name in Ashleigh Clennell and my older brother James was killed in a car crash on 20th June 2011 at just 16, and this year he should have been turning 30 on the 2nd August.
In memory of him and to celebrate his birthday, I have decided to walk from his grave in Benington, Hertfordshire, to Stamford Bridge in London as he was a huge Chelsea fan!
I will be completing the walk with my neighbour Rox! The walk is around 34 miles long and will take us over 13 hours to complete on Friday 2nd August.
I have partnered with an incredible charity called Road Peace who provide information and support services to people bereaved or seriously injured in car crashes. I hope no one ever experiences the same heartbreak and emptiness that I carry around with me every day, and being able to support and share this amazing charity with you all gives me comfort that there is support for those who need it.
