In December last year Jess was rushed to hospital with a severely ruptured appendix.

She underwent a 4 hour surgery followed by a fortnights stay in the children's HDU at Ninewells.

We as a family can never express our gratitude for the care that Jess received during her time in Ninewells. All of the staff we met during our stay were second to none.

Jess has been very fortunate to make a full recovery and as such we wanted to take on a physical challenge to raise some money for the Archie Foundation (the charity who fundraise for the Children's Hospital at Ninewells).

On the 10th of November Jess & I will be joined by family members and friends to run a mile every hour for 24 hours!
