We will be cycling from London to Amsterdam - over 300 miles and covering 4 countries to raise money for Momentum children’s charity. We are a Father and Son duo who love a challenge and in particular we are doing this for a very special little girl called Florence who is Grandaughter to Jason and niece to Joe.

Florence aged 3 is daughter to Jack and Chloe, sister to Freddie. In April of last year Florence was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia, (blood Cancer) to say their worlds were torn apart is an understatement.

Jack and Chloe have only been married a short while, they have had plans for family holidays and exciting days out, but this has been put on hold in order for Florence to receive life challenging treatment.

Both Jack and Chloe have waited until Florence is well enough to go out as they cannot risk coming in contact with any germs, but this has meant that the family often miss the opportunity to make memories and have necessary fun family time and unburden both Florence and Freddie with the pressures of regular treatments and hospital visits.

Momentum childrens chairty, along with their amazing support and friendly faces during hospital visits, have provided amazing respite and days out for the family as well as emotional support.

Momentum support children with cancer and life-challenging conditions, and their families, helping them to cope more easily whatever the outcome. Working across London, Surrey and Sussex, they partner with ten local hospitals who refer families to us following their child’s diagnosis

In the last year they have supported 430 families through their child's serious illness diagnosis and treatment, or those who had sadly experienced a bereavement.

To also add more awareness to the charity we will be cycling the London to Brighton (54miles) in June 2024 which will bring our total cycled for Momentum to 388 miles.
