Story

I was really shocked to discover that suicide is the biggest killer of people aged 35 and under in the UK. If you are reading this now, I imagine you feel the same.

Many of us may have been affected by the loss of someone close to us through these exceptionally difficult circumstances. If, like me, you’d like to make a difference then read on!

My goal is to complete the 3 Peaks Challenge - that’s climbing Ben Nevis in Scotland, Scafell Pike in England and Yr Wyddfa (the mountain formerly known as Snowdon to us Southerners!) in Wales.

-3407 metres of ascent

-26 miles

-24 hours.

-perhaps a blister or 2?!

Why?

Because I would like to raise money for PAPYRUS (prevention of young suicide). Papyrus is dedicated to the prevention of suicide and the promotion of positive mental health and emotional well being in young people.

I have never taken on a challenge like this before, and I hope that in doing so, I can help support the work of such an important charity.

If you can donate anything at all, it would be H U G E L Y appreciated.

Thank you for reading this, and for your support
