Becoming a Knight in the Legion of Honor is easily one of the best decisions that I have ever made. Whether it be through lifelong friendships built on a foundation of love, truth and honor or indispensable leadership skills, Sigma Nu is the gift that continues to give, unselfishly.

In an attempt to pay it forward, I am asking for support to help preserve the experience for the next generation...one that includes my son, Gavin...just as those that came before us have done.

On a moonlit October night in 1868, three young cadets secretly met on a limestone outcropping near the Parade Ground of the Virginia Military Institute to form a brotherhood that would change the lives of hundreds of thousands of men.

Annually, in October, the Legion of Honor calls upon this brotherhood to celebrate the anniversary of our spiritual founding by making a gift on Sigma Nu's Day of Giving. In 2023, we celebrate the 155th anniversary of this singular event.

This year, we focus on enhancing our beautiful Headquarters in Lexington, Va., with all Day of Giving proceeds supporting Sigma Nu’s new, state-of-the-art living and learning facility, the Spears Family Epsilon Epsilon Center for Excellence.
