Everyone should feel comfortable getting the support they need for issues with drugs, alcohol, mental health and homelessness. I am raising money to support the Armed forces community program at With You. By walking the coastal GR223 from Cherbourg to Pegasus Bridge and sleeping outside every evening I hope to raise money for this service. This trek will take me through the D-Day landing sites and other sites important in Operation Overlord including Sainte Mere Eglise, Carentan, Pointe du Hoc, Utah, Omaha Juno, Sword, Gold landing beaches, Memorial de Caen and finishing at Memorial Pegasus. This trek will be unsupported with all kit required carried on my back (except for water). I will be walking through this area at the same time as the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings.
