We are raising money for 2 new wheelchair adapted minibuses. Presently, we only have 2 minibuses across our organisation, to cater for children that are split across 3 sites. One minibus is 24 years old and is not ULEZ compliant so must be replaced.

Story

As you have been indoors, moaning about the cold, rain, wind and snow, I have been regularly training for my latest marathon, in Barcelona.

I am not asking for your sympathy. I am not asking you to join me running. What I am asking is if you can help me fundraise for a special school close to my heart.

Oakleigh School and Acorn nursery caters for children who have a wide range of Special Educational Needs/Disabilities (SEND), including children with specific medical conditions, physical disabilities, social and communication difficulties, sensory impairments, autism spectrum conditions and/or other learning difficulties.

Currently there are 2 minibuses across the whole organisation, and one is these needs to be scrapped as it is not ULEZ compliant, so leaving the organisation with one usable minibus.

It is my pleasure, and honour, to help the school raise enough money to purchase two additional wheelchair adapted, electric minibuses.

Every donation will help Oakleigh towards meeting their required total.

I thank you for supporting me, and Oakleigh School.
