Thanks for supporting my fundraising. Macmillan gives people with cancer everything they’ve got. If you’re diagnosed, your worries are Macmillan’s worries. Macmillan’s doing whatever it takes. But without your help, Macmillan can’t support everyone who needs them.

I'm taking on the Dragon Ride's Medio Fondo - cycling 217km and climbing 3300m, including the Devils Elbow and The Bwlych which are amongst the highest hills in Welsh Wales.

Foolishly, I've left it very late to start my fundraising and have no idea what a JustGiving page is. Therefore, and possibly more foolishly, I am relying on my wonderful, witty, talented wife (certainly the better half!) to do this for me. I now have 10 days to raise as much as I can, so if nothing else, please donate even if it's because you have taken pity on me.

I have been training for this event with regular road riding and mountain biking (if training also includes quite a long, late-night stop at the pub for beers or tea and cake in a cafe), and so I'm pretty confident I'm going to slay those dragon hills!

So please dig deep and support me, and more importantly Macmillan and all the people with cancer they support in turn. And then maybe my wife will stop laughing at me in my fetching lycra.
