We are proud to be supporting Home-Start in Suffolk, the county's largest family support charity.

They offer struggling families throughout Suffolk practical help and emotional support in a friendly, non-judgemental way through their army of over 280 volunteers.

In the last 12 months, they have worked with more than 1,500 families facing a wide range of challenges, including mental health issues, disability, physical health problems, poverty, and domestic violence. We are taking part in this running challenge to raise vital funds to help them reach more families within Suffolk who desperately need their help.

Jasmine is too young to race on the day, so she will be running the distance on a different day as a part of the Home-Start team. As her mum, Alicia will be running the half marathon with the Home-Start team on the day.

This sponsorship page is for both of us, as mother and daughter, we are both part of the Home-Start Ipswich Half Marathon team, though Jasmine will run a half marathon distance on a different day. Your sponsorship will go directly to Home-Start Suffolk, providing help and support to those who need it.

The page is in both of our names because Jasmine is part of the Home-Start team and will be running the distance on a different day, though Alicia, her mum is legally the official runner on the day. This is in line with JustGiving and HMRC guidelines for donations. Donations will be sent directly to Home-Start from this page.
