We are women from the 18-25s group at the LBC, fundraising for Tiratanaloka [UN]LIMITED. On a recent study evening with Subhadramati and Vishvantara we pledged to raise £3000 to support Tiratanaloka! We studied the history of the Buddha’s female disciples, a lineage from the very first women who went forth 2600 years ago to ourselves and were inspired to fundraise to help this lineage develop. Some of us are training for ordination and waiting to go to Tiratanaloka and so will directly benefit from the building of a new retreat centre which will accommodate more of us. We want to increase the opportunity for women like us to deepen their Buddhist practice!

We will be putting on events, and organising various activities to raise £3000 before the 26th of May but we would also love for people to donate directly on this page!
