Story
Last year June 3rd I lost my dad following a fall. Some may know he was going blind. He was offered support from Blind veterans who have a rehab support centre in Llandudno Wales. Dad was really looking forward to attending this centre. Where he was offered all different activities in a safe environment. Sadly due to his passing he never got opportunity to do this. However it doesn’t take away what this charity offers and does for blind veterans.
So on 1st June I am doing Hadrians wall. An 84 miles walk from Carlisle to Newcastle. I am sure an extra few miles on top while trying to navigate the pubs and b&bs will be also done. Completing the walk on the 6th June the 80th year of D-day. A fitting tribute to both my dad and the charity.
