Help to us to support people with sight and/or hearing loss across the Sheffield City Region during the Covid-19 crisis. Living with sight/hearing loss can be difficult at the best of times, but life is incredibly challenging right now!

Story

I’m taking part in Go Ape Treetop Challenge at Sherwood Pines to raise funds for Sheffield Royal Society for the Blind’s local sight loss services. SRSB support over 4,000 visually impaired impaired people in Sheffield and over 2,000 visually impaired and /or hearing impaired people in Rotherham. As a client I am aware of the great work that SRSB does and the impact it has had for me and those close to me.

The Treetop Challenge is a 2-3 hour team event, where you climb, swing, and charge through this challenging set of high ropes obstacles. You tackle each individual crossing in your own unique way to see who reaches the finish line first. The challenge includes high platforms, balancing on walkways and higher speeds on the brilliant final shared zip
