I am cycling across from Whitehaven to Tynemouth from 27th-29th May 2023. This will cover 140 miles over 3 days with challenging hilly sections. This is a small challenge compared to daily life with Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME) the complex chronic inflammatory multi system condition which affects over 250,000 people in the UK. My daughter Rosie is affected. ME receives very little research funding and thanks to the lack of investment there is very little support available. I am asking for your help to fund more research.

Invest in ME Research is an independent UK charity finding, funding and facilitating a strategy of biomedical research into Myalgic Encephalomyelitis (ME or ME/CFS).

The charity is run by volunteers - patients or parents of children with ME - with no paid staff.

Overheads are kept to a minimum and all funds raised to go to promoting education of, and funding for biomedical research into, ME.Our efforts are focused on setting up a UK Centre of Excellence for ME which will provide proper examinations, diagnosis and in time treatment(s)/cure(s).
