Sindy lived her life to the fullest, encouraging everyone around her to be the best that they can be. Her courage and openness in sharing her story has impacted so many people around the world and raised the awareness for Pancreatic Cancer and the need for continued research. She loved running and Ottawa Race Weekend was always a wonderful weekend of racing, laughing and spending time with good friends.

It was for her and with her that I ran my first marathon in 2015 and then 50k in 2020. I know she will be with me as I run the marathon this year in tribute to her. I swore I would never do another one but do this in hopes that we can raise the most money ever in memory of her.
