I am taking part in both the Great North Run & Belfast Half in September to raise vital funds for the Alzheimer's Society. As some of you will know my family has been personally affected by this terrible disease and have seen first hand how it strips a person of everything you take for granted. There are so many people suffering from it in NI and across the UK yet there is no cure.

Alzheimer’s Society are working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates so many peoples lives by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future. They also provide invaluable support to the many families trying to come to terms with slowly losing a loved one who is still so physically present.
