Memory Action Group is a peer support group for people living with dementia and their carers. We believe there is life after a diagnosis and work hard to ensure people maintain independence and enjoy a good life for as long as possible.

The Challenge is for our members is to either walk, cycle or run 1000 miles between us. The Challenge will start on 13th July with local events which will be published. It will end on 20th July with the sponsored walk from the navigation Pub, Calder Grove, Wakefield WF4 3DS to Liversedge CC (9.7 miles) and the sponsored cycle ride from Liversedge CC to Standedge Tunnel and back to Liversedge CC (around 42 - 45 miles). In between there will be some other events which will be more local to members in order to meet the target of 1000 miles over the week.
