As many of you will know Phil spent the last weeks of his earthly life in the gentle care of Fairhavens Hospice. His girls - Ruth and Fiona - and I feel that we owe them a debt we will never be able to repay since they made such a huge difference to what was a terrible time We honestly do not know how we would have come through it without their dignified loving care - not only to Phil but to all of us as a family

We are on a “10 in 10” mission - that is we want to raise £10,000 in ten months to say thank you to them

”I would walk over hot coals for you …”

We have in mind a few ideas but they kick off on Saturday 18th November when I will be doing a fire walk Yes - you read that right - I am going to walk over burning coals because somewhere in the depths of this deranged mind it seems easier than signing up for a marathon My wonderful totally bonkers sister Jackie Brazier has pledged to join me as has my equally bonkers friend Marilyn Cain
