Story
Thanks so much for supporting me in my fundraising efforts for Sport in Mind, the UK's leading mental health sports charity. I'm excited to be participating in the Brighton Half Marathon on Sunday February 25th, 2024.
Physical activity has always been a crucial part of my life, helping me maintain both my physical and mental well-being. A few years ago, I took up running as a way to manage the stress of my demanding job in the NHS and also to navigate the challenges of living with diabetes. Running has had an incredibly positive impact on both aspects of my life, and I've experienced its benefits first hand.
But the main thing is it doesn't really matter what sport or activity we choose, as long as it works for us. That's why I'm proud to be supporting Sport in Mind. They collaborate with the amazing NHS to deliver various physical activity projects like sports, walking, dance and movement, gardening, and exercise sessions. These initiatives aid recovery, promote mental well-being, improve physical health, combat social isolation, and empower individuals to move their lives forward in a positive direction.
Please consider supporting me as I strive to reach my fundraising target of £250 for Sport in Mind. Every contribution counts and will make a significant difference in helping individuals improve their mental health through physical activity.
